AIM began in Minnesota in 1977 with a small team traveling to Nicaragua and has since grown to send thousands of students and adults worldwide to share the Gospel. They offer 72-hour trips, U.S. and international trips, and passion-based trips that allow students to use their passion / interests—such as sports, art, worship, outreach to unreached people groups, fighting human trafficking, and clean water projects—in missions. Since 2011, Minnesota AIM has sent 163 teams and over 2,500 participants across Minnesota, the U.S., and the world, with momentum continuing to grow.
